HMO Kit sometimes uses automated services to access publicly available information on local authority and government websites, including licensing registers, planning records, committee documents, and related regulatory publications.

We aim to access only publicly available material, avoid unnecessary requests, respect applicable website terms and technical access controls, and keep request volumes proportionate. Where a website operator asks us not to access particular pages or sets reasonable technical restrictions, we will review the request and, where appropriate, adjust our access.
